Welcome to Redeemer Lutheran Church

Our Sunday morning schedule is:

Sunday School – 9:00 a.m.

Divine Service – 10:30 a.m.

Redeemer Lutheran Church celebrates Holy Communion every Sunday, except the first Sunday of the month. Holy Communion is also celebrated on Christmas Eve, Maundy Thursday, Easter Day, and New Year’s Eve.

Please note: On the basis of Holy Scripture, it is the practice of Redeemer Lutheran church to admit only the communicant members of Redeemer to the Lord’s Supper.  (If you are a communicant member of a sister Missouri Synod congregation, please speak to the Pastor or one of the Elder’s.)

If you are not a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and would like to learn more about what we believe, we invite you to talk to Pastor Grassley about Adult Instruction Class. Find out more about what the LCMS church teaches and confesses. Go to:

Divine Service is God’s service to His people.  We are poor, sinful beings who are helpless to do anything to help our situation.  Our only hope is in the Triune God, just as it has always been throughout scripture.

In the Divine Service, God comes to us through His Word and Sacraments.  He comes to us through the Holy Spirit and gives us His gifts of forgiveness, life, and salvation.

Through God’s Word, we hear God’s Law and Gospel. The Law tells us of our sinfulness and our need for a Savior.  The Gospel tells us that Jesus is our Savior, and that he has done all that is necessary for our salvation, when he was crucified for our sins.

The Holy Spirit works through God’s Word to create and strengthen our Faith in Christ.

It is because of what God gives us in the Divine Service, that we in turn respond in faith and are enabled to go out into our community and the world to share Christ’s love with our family, friends, strangers, and even our enemies.
