Vicar Troy D. Scroggins

Vicar Troy D. Scroggins, was born on November 1, 1963 in Borger, Texas. He has a twin brother, Jimmy, and two younger brothers, David and Clint. His parents, Jim and Diane Scroggins, have been married for over 40 years.

He has worked off and on for his father at Jim's Bearings and Supply in Borger, Texas for about 20 years. He was also the Deputy for Hutchinson County's Sheriff's Office, a Police Officer for the City of Borger, and Police Officer/Investigator for the City of Sunray.

Vicar Scroggins graduated junior college from Frank Phillips College in May of 1985. Afterwards, he went to Concordia University at Austin in Austin, Texas and graduated in May of 2001. He studied at Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana to become a Pastor in the LCMS. During his studies, he did a summer Vicarage at St. John Lutheran Church in Hooker, Oklahoma. His vicarage at Redeemer Lutheran Church was from June 2004 through June 2005.
